LAKESHORE VOCATIONAL WELDING:
The mission of the Lakeshore Welding Program is to foster an environment in which students develop trustworthy, respectful, and responsible life and employability skills while attaining the knowledge to obtain a high wage, high skill, and high demand career. Through the support of our community, Berrien County Tooling Coalition, and industry partners, Lakeshore High School is expanding opportunities for students with training in a 21st century manufacturing industry by improving infrastructure, incorporating robotics, and improving education through rigorous curriculum and partnership with community colleges 1+1 programs.
Thank you for everyone who helped us earn enough to purchase the Tourchmate X CNC Plasma Cutter. This piece of equipment is vital for students to understand robotics and automation in manufacturing, and we are looking forward to its arrival in the beginning of February.
For information about Lakeshore's county wide Vocational Welding Program please contact one of the following people. This program is open free of charge to any high school aged student in Berrien County.
