Lakeshore High School Vocational Welding program is fully articulated with Southwestern Michigan College to give students the opportunity to earn up to 18 college credits over two years. Classes are conducted using the American Welding Society standards and students are given the college labs and exams reguardless if they choose to take the class for college credit.
Students wishing to take the class for college credit will need to pay $110 per class for a total of $990 over the two years. Payment are taken twice each year, once in the fall and once in the spring. Students only pay for the classes they are currently taking. Students may take as many or as few classes as they wish or do not need to register for any college classes.
